
Valley National 8-Ball League Association (VNEA), a group of pool enthusiasts, has more than 100,000. It also hosts weekly leagues in over 400 cities. It is the largest amateur pool league worldwide, with members in 36 states and 36 nations. VNEA has a huge amusement business and generates tons of revenue. VNEA Pool Leagues offer friendly competition and players will be playing against each other in round-robin format matches. Players must play on 7x3.5ft "barbox" coin-operated pools tables that are smaller than 9x4.5ft regulation tables. VNEA leagues also organize non-team regular tournaments which allow local players to challenge the best.
In the past, the VNEA honored pool league players for their contributions. Caela Gibson is one of these players. She has been involved in the league's inception since 1999. She has won many titles at the VNEA World Championships. She has also won numerous tournament title, including Singles, Team events, as well as Women's Regular 8 Ball Singles. She has been an active advocate for the VNEA of Colorado. She has been a leading fundraiser for Gene Pool League for the past 2 years. She has organized numerous benefit events for cancer research as well as street children.

Another pool player with a long and impressive history in the VNEA is Shane Bloomberg. He is the grandson of Jeanie and Gary Bloomberg. Shane was an active participant in the VNEA from the age of nine. He has become one of most respected pool players worldwide. He is a regular participant in the Pro Tour and is expected be named Player of Decade in 2020.
