Ronnie Osullivan is currently the number one English snooker player. He is also the current world champion. He has been a professional player since 1980 and is considered one of the best players of his generation. Ronnie Osullivan was seven when he started playing. He won his first tournament at age nine. British newspapers called him "the Two Ronnies", after the iconic comic duo of 1970s. O'Sullivan broke his first competitive century as a teenager and won the British Under-16 Championships the following year.
