The Billiard Congress of America (BCA), a leader in promoting billiards throughout the United States, is the place to go if you are a player or just a fan. It is headquartered near Broomfield, Colorado. There is also a branch in Atlanta. BCA is involved with all aspects of the sport. They have been instrumental in promoting snooker as well as 3-Cushion.
BCA is also a body of governing bodies that are responsible for overseeing the specifications and rules of tournaments. In addition to playing a key role in sanctioning tournaments, BCA offers educational resources and leadership opportunities to promote the sport and the game of pool.
The BCA is a major promoter of pool and has been an organizer of billiards in the United States for over a century. The BCA promotes pool through education and leadership opportunities. It also supports the next generation of players with scholarships and other programs. The Billiard Congress of America Hall of Fame recognizes exceptional players and contributes.
The Official Rules and Records Book has been produced by the organization. This book contains all the rules that are used by the World Pool-Billiard Asociation (WPA). It also provides a guide that explains the rules for various other games. The U.S. Open 114.1 Championships promotion is also done by the BCA.
