Dafabet is once more the title sponsor of World Pool Masters. Dafabet is an online sports betting operator that partners with many high-profile brands such as Celtic FC, Norwich City FC and the Warwickshire County Cricket Team. Dafabet sponsors the British Fast5 Netball All-Stars Championship. Dafabet was previously the title sponsor for the World Pool Masters 2017 and 2019.
Gibraltar hosts the 2020 World Pool Masters. 24 of top pool players will compete for $100,000. Matchroom Pool Club subscribers will be able to purchase tickets on Monday, Dec 9, while the general public can buy tickets on Tuesday, Dec 10, for the tournament. David Alcaide last year was the champion and will be defending his title against a top-notch field of players.
Dafabet World pool Masters
Dafabet has extended the title sponsorship deal for World Pool Masters. The tournament will be played in Gibraltar, 22-25 May 2019. The title sponsor for the World Pool Masters 2017-2018 was Dafabet. Dafabet also has other sponsorship deals. The company has previously partnered with La Liga football tournament, as well as the Sussex cricket side Durham.

Dafabet World Pool Masters, an international pool competition with nine balls, is held annually. It is the most prestigious event of its kind and has raised the amount of prize money for each year's winner. The prize fund for the event this year was $100,000. The tournament was won by David Alcaide, a Spaniard. Alcaide beat Alexander Kazakis (Greek) by more than twice the length. Niels Feijen won the last year's tournament by beating Shane Van Boening. The Dutchman also defeated David Alcaide in the first round.
Joshua Filler
Joshua Filler is a bonen-based German pool player. Filler, 21, has won the China Open title and the European Pool Championships 10-ball. He is also the youngest person to win one of these two competitions. He won the China Open and is also the youngest winner of the European Pool Championships.
Filler began playing the sport when he was seven years old and was already competing at national level. Filler made his Mosconi Cup debut at twenty-five and represented Europe at that event. He was crowned the winner of the China Open 9,-ball tournament, and the European Pool Championship (ten-ball). In the final, he defeated Italian Carlo Biado to win his first world championship. He not only won the World Pool Masters but also the Mosconi Cup (the World Cup of Pool) and the US Open Pool Championship.
Lo Ho'sum
Lo Ho-sum was the first Hong Kong pool player who reached the World Pool Masters final. He expressed concern about a recent budget reduction. Despite his recent success in the sport, he remains relatively unknown outside of his homeland. A wild-card entry to the Gibraltar tournament, Lo won a string of matches to reach the final. In the quarterfinals he beat Shane Van Boening. However, he lost the final to Joshua Filler. Before Lo's heroics, the pair was tied at six.

The World Pool Masters is an annual nine-ball competition that determines the best pool players in the world. The first event was held in Europe. It has now been expanded to include players coming from all parts of the globe. Lo has a very strong professional record and has maintained a good ranking throughout his career.
Sanchez Ruiz
Francisco Sanchez Ruiz defeated Max Lechner 13-10 to win the 2022 US Open Pool Championship. This victory places him at number one in the Live Nineball World Rankings. It also earns him $50,000 for the first prize. Sanchez Ruiz became the first Spanish player, becoming the first to win one among pool's oldest majors. Sanchez Ruiz also passed Shane Van Boening with this win, pushing him over the $100,000 mark.
Sanchez Ruiz had a lot of difficult moments against Filler. After making two consecutive racks, Sanchez Ruiz was able overcome his nerves and won the match. Sanchez Ruiz came out on top with a 2-rack buffer, after Filler had fought back.
