The Billiard Congress of America, a prominent organization that promotes billiards in the United States, organizes and supports pool players. It is headquartered at Broomfield in Colorado and has an office in Atlanta, Georgia. BCA is an organization that promotes snooker, 3-Cushion, and other aspects of the game.

BCA is also a body of governing bodies that are responsible for overseeing the specifications and rules of tournaments. BCA has a significant role in the sanctioning of tournaments. It also offers education resources and leadership opportunities that promote the game and pool.

The BCA is a major promoter of pool and has been an organizer of billiards in the United States for over a century. The organization promotes the sport through education and leadership opportunities, and supports the development of the next generation of players through programs and scholarships. The Billiard Congress of America Hall of Fame honors outstanding players and contributers.

The Official Rules and Records Book (or Official Rules and Records Book) is one of the many activities that the organization has undertaken. This concise rulebook contains the standardized rules utilized by the World Pool-Billiard association (WPA). The organization also offers a rulebook that describes the rules for a number of other games. The BCA is also involved in the promotion of the U.S. Open 14.1 Championships.


The BCA promotes championship tournaments and has the Billiard Congress of America Hall Of Fame. The BCA is the governing body of pocket billiards in America. Each year, the BCA organizes a trade show that showcases a wide variety of products such as billiards and barstools, casual furniture, and many other cues.

The BCA also organizes the BCA Pool League which is a league sanctioning organisation. The league has more than 450 sanctioned leagues throughout the United States and eight other countries. It hosts the BCAPL National 8-Ball Championships. This championship has 22 divisions. BCAPL has more than 50,000 members.

BCA also hosts the annual BCA Summit. This summit features seminars on a range of topics related to billiards, home recreation, and social events that promote peer relationships. Since 1982, it has hosted the BCA Expo. It will unite again with Amusement Expo International, (AEI), during the March 27-30 event in Las Vegas.

Billiard Congress of America Official Rules and Records Book are also kept by the BCA. It includes all rules of billiards including nine-ball. It also contains a rulebook that covers games not subject to international competition.

While not as focused as the APA on league play (the BCA), it is one of largest supporters of the sport. It offers leadership opportunities, educational resources and referral services.
