The rules of table shuffleboard can seem a little confusing to those just starting. You should be familiar with the basic rules of table shuffleboard before you can start playing. There are many versions of shuffleboard. Each has their own rules. These can include Crazy Eight, a game that is a little more challenging than the average version. This game uses a unique scoring system, which awards points in different ways.

Table shuffleboard has one rule. Each player can only score once per round. In most games, the winner is the player with 15 or more points. These players have the option to shoot another round. The "hammer" shot is also available to a player. It is the last shot of a round.

In shuffleboard games, your first goal is to get the puck closest to where it will land. To do this, move the puck from one edge to the other. This will require you to slide the board along the edge. It's important that you stand behind your opponent when you're ready for shooting.

Once your puck is landed, it's a good move to push it in the right place to score. To get the puck in the best scoring spot, you can either lean forward or backwards. You should keep your foot on the ground behind it.

Players have three scoring zones on their tables. Each zone can award different amounts of points. For example: The first zone grants one point for every puck landed in it. The second zone awards two points for each puck, and the third section offers three points for each puck. The puck must cross over the line between the "2", or "3", areas in order to score in this third zone.

The final scoring area is located near the foul line and across the middle. The foul line is not crossed and pucks are out of play. If the puck lands in the correct area, it is worth zero points.

Pucks have a number. By standing above the puck, players can check if their puck has crossed the line. They can also push the pucks into better scoring spots to increase their chances.

Pucks have eight weights and come in sets. They measure 2.3125 inches wide. They weigh in at 12 ounces for regulation, and can be found in recreational sizes between 11 to 15 ounces. The most common size for hockey is a smaller one, which is ideal for playing on small surfaces. However, larger pucks are great for larger surfaces.

Knock Off and Crazy Eight are two of the most common versions of Shuffleboard. They can be played up to four players. Crazy Eight, a version that is very similar to classic games is another popular option.
