Jimmy White – World Snooker Player

Jimmy White is a well-known snooker player. Jimmy White was born in Balham London and has since won over 30 professional titles. He is well-known for his bold style and exceptional natural talent. His accomplishments have seen him reach the top of the sport, in many countries.

He was an English World Cup team member in 1988. In 1979, he won the English Amateur Championship. He later went on to win the World Doubles Championship with Alex Higgins. He is known for his humor and sportsmanship, which has earned him the reputation of a funny after-dinner speaker. He is also a dedicated conservationist. As such, he has worked with award winning documentary teams and is an avid animal lover.

Having started his professional career in the 1980s, Jimmy White reached the final of the British Open and the Masters. After a promising early career, White remained in top eight for the majority of his career. His fortunes started to decline in the 1990s. He was not able to replicate his past success, but he managed to keep his place in the main tour for another year.

He did not lose a frame in his qualifying matches. He lost in the deciding frames to Matthew Selt and Xiao Guodong in his first two qualifying matches. He continued to show good performances throughout the year, despite the setbacks.

He won three matches at full-ranking tournaments in 2014/15. He lost to Barry Hawkins at the International Championship, which ended his disappointing season. Despite this, he finished in the top eight outside the top 64 on the main list.

Jimmy White was named the youngest winner of the ranking event the next season. During the course of the tournament, he defeated Stephen Hendry, Mark Selby and David Morris. His win secured him a place in the pro top 64.

Jimmy White made the most his opportunity in China, after having fought to be in the top 64. In order to keep his place among the top 64 for a second year, he qualified at the International Championship. He became the second overall player with a maximum break at the tournament.
