
The Billiard Congress of America(BCA) is a leading organization which promotes billiards across the United States. It is headquartered in Broomfield, Colorado, and has a presence in Atlanta, Georgia. The BCA, as an organization, is involved in all aspects of the sport and has played a major role in the promotion and development of 3-Cushion billiards and snooker.
The BCA is also a governing body that is tasked with overseeing and providing input on the rules and specifications of games and tournaments. BCA plays a crucial role in sanctioning tournaments. They also offer educational resources and leadership options to promote the sport of pool.
The BCA played a significant role in the promotion, development and preservation of pool. It has been a leading organizer of billiards sports in the United States since more than 100 years. Through education and leadership opportunities, the organization supports the development and growth of the next generation through scholarships and programs. The Billiard Congress of America Hall of Fame is also maintained by the organization. It recognizes outstanding players as well as contributors.

Among its activities, the organization has produced the Official Rules and Records Book, a concise rulebook that incorporates the standardized rules used by the World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA). It also has a rule book that outlines the rules of a variety of other games. The BCA is also involved in the promotion of the U.S. Open 14.1 Championships.
The BCA is also involved in the promotion and sanctioning of championship tournaments, and the organization maintains the Billiard Congress of America Hall Of Fame. It's also the governing body for pocket billiards in the United States. Every year, BCA holds a tradeshow that displays a wide variety products including billiards barstools, casual furnishings, and other cues.
The BCA Pool League has been established by the BCA, which is a sanctioning organization for leagues. There are more than 450 leagues sanctioned by the league in the United States and eight countries. It also hosts the BCAPL National 8-Ball Championships. These championships have 22 divisions. BCAPL has more than 50,000 members.
BCA also hosts the annual BCA Summit. This summit features seminars on a range of topics related to billiards, home recreation, and social events that promote peer relationships. Since 1982, the BCA Expo has been an industry trade event. It will unite again with Amusement Expo International, (AEI), during the March 27-30 event in Las Vegas.

The Billiard Congress of America Official Rules and Records Book is also maintained by the BCA. It contains all rules related to billiards, even nine-ball. You can also find a rulebook for games that aren’t open to international competition.
The BCA is not as focused on league play as the Billiards Association of America (APA), but it's one of the largest supporters of the sport. It offers leadership opportunities, educational resources and referral services.
